New York Fashion Week 2018 has arrived in all its glory. Although the runway is the main attraction, street style at New York Fashion Week 2018 comes a very close second.

If you’re wanting to get a head start on your 2018 wardrobe then you’re in the right place.  Here are all the fashion trends we’ve seen so far at New York Fashion Week 2018.

The Puffers

Balenciaga are bringing back the puffer jacket this NYFW. On the street as well as the runway, we are seeing bomber jackets everywhere. Layering the puffer with a turtle neck sweater is something we will be seeing more often in Winter 2018. Think of this trend as sports luxe meets winter attire.

It’s going to be a white Winter

We’re talking white boots, white pants, white jackets and white accessories. Whether you’re dressing head to toe in white or adding subtle white pieces to your outfit, you’re doing it right.

Shop The James Smith ON DUTY Total White Slides.

The On Duty slides are the perfect start to your white trend. With a 100% Leather finish, these slides are the perfect all year round slide.

Square Toe Boots

Square toe boots have made a comeback. Set aside your Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots and make way for short heeled boots or anything reminiscent of a square front.

We are just about to release three new styles to the James Smith collection. Featuring a heel and open toe, these square front slides are available in black, white and red leather.

Bum bags

We’ve seen a whole lot of bum bags from last year’s runways through to Coachella.

They’re still every fashion IT Girl’s number one accessory and the more vintage the find, the better. Not only is this accessory functional, it’s taken the place of the Gucci waist belt.

From Louis Vuitton to Dylan Kain, or the recent retro look Prada bags, there are so many styles and designers to choose from.

Layers upon layers

It’s been a cold winter in New York, but that’s not going to stop the style icons from doing their thing. We’re seeing so many layers, whether they are clashing patterns or mixing with neutrals. Layer a hoodie with a luxury camel coat for contrast or a turtle neck knit under a puffer coat.

James Smith will be showing at Coterie, an exclusive trade show following New York Fashion Week. Coterie is a global event that connects brands with prestigious fashion retailers. We can’t wait to share James Smith with buyers from all over the world. Stay tuned!
